One of these is included in the £239. Two are included in the £279. Added to a remap that is already booked, any further one is +£79. Booked on its own, it is £129, because that is a separate visit.
Start-stop off
The engine keeps switching off in traffic, or the battery and starter are taking a hammering.
Swirl flaps off
The flaps stick, throw a warning light, or can break and get pulled into the engine.
Speed limiter off
The van or car stops pulling because of a limiter, not because the engine has finished. Tell your insurer. A limiter the law requires on that vehicle is not removed.
Sport display
The extra gauges or sport readout the car should be able to show, switched on where the vehicle has them.
Exhaust flaps off
The flaps rattle, stick, or you want the exhaust note left in one position. Confirmed per car.
Throttle valve (TVA) off
The throttle valve on a diesel sticks, clogs with oil, or keeps bringing a warning light back.
Deep idle
The engine hunts or feels like it will stall at idle. A small idle change, not more power.
RPM limiter raised
Only where the engine build can take the extra revs. Refused on a standard daily car.
People ask about a DPF, EGR or AdBlue delete when the car has gone into limp mode, a warning light will not stay off, or a garage has quoted a large bill for a new part.
On a car used on the road, the fix is a regen, a repair or a replacement. Removing the DPF, EGR or AdBlue system makes the car illegal to drive on UK roads, and it will fail an MOT if that part was fitted from the factory. Solaris does not do that so a road car can keep being used.
Book a basic scan instead, from £60 on the pricing page, or a DPF regen at £80 where the filter can still be cleared. If it cannot, you get a straight answer before any money is spent on a file.
